Fonseca Bin 27

After the fun weekend, Mondays might seem like a drag. I think it’s best to finish a long Monday with a postprandial treat like Fonseca Bin 27. A blend of Portugal’s native grape varietals, you can’t go wrong with this libation. I pair mine with my after-dinner dark chocolate. You can do the same or ditch the chocolate and go straight for the wine, either works!

Tasting Notes

Sweet wine with fresh, rich blackberry and cassis aromas. On the palate, it has a well-knit structure, with a velvety, luscious mouthfeel and smooth tannins.

Food Match

Strong-flavored hard cheeses--farmhouse Cheddar or aged Gouda. Desserts made with dark chocolate or berries.
